This song was written over five years ago when our bass player bought a sky blue Squier Precision bass. The song was written initially for a different band he was in, but was later used by Exhaler after the band had written the music for Blood Orange, our first EP.

The song came together quite quickly, and it was recorded in the winter of 2023. After some sessions of overdubs, the song was released on July 27th of 2024. (Happy birthday Effigy)

However, before the release of the single, the band recorded a music video with the help of fellow DU student Emily Maiwat. She was a huge help to us during this process and humored all of our stupid ideas.
